The Ecumenical Year 2025 – Time for God’s peace
The Ecumenical Year 2025 with the theme Time for God’s peace, as expressed by the board of the Christian Council of Sweden, will aim for the following:
- Contribute to peace in troubled times
All aspects of peace – sustainable peace in the family and society, peace on earth, peace in the business world, peace between peoples, peace with God and oneself. - Strengthen unity and affinity
Our ambition is that we will be challenged to take a decisive step forwards working for ecumenism. - Draw attention to the Ecumenical Conference in 1925 and linking to the First Council of Nicaea in 325.
