Registration Ecumenical Week 18-23 August 2025

The theme for this significant year – Time for God’s Peace – feels more relevant than ever. In 2025 we mark the commemoration of two pivotal events in the history of the Church: the 1700th anniversary of the First Ecumenical Council of Nicaea (325) and the 100th anniversary of the Ecumenical Meeting in Stockholm (1925).

A century ago, the Archbishop of Church of Sweden Nathan Söderblom invited participants to the Universal Christian Conference on Life and Work, bringing people together in the aftermath of World War I, to reconnect, heal, and collaborate. His efforts for peace and unity were later recognized with the Nobel Peace Prize in 1930.

In this spirit, we will gather once again in 2025 to celebrate and advance the cause of ecumenism. The full program is to be found here.
